Public rapid charging peaks at 175 kW on the 45 quattro (77 kWh); at typical UK rapid-charger prices of 75–85p/kWh that works out at 26.0p per mile — roughly the same as petrol — so the whole saving with this car comes from charging at home on a tariff with a cheap window.
